Daisy Troop 11080 is seeking an assistant for mid-May through June. The Daisy Troop is comprised of kindergarten and first grade students. Duties include lesson planning and organizing tasks for the bi-monthly meetings. This volunteer position is open to high school students and above. Accreditation: Almost There

We are expecting five educators to spend four days at the school starting this coming Sunday. This visiting committee will take a tour on Sunday and start interviewing identified people from the Alhuda community. The committee will observe classes and school routines throughout the following days. The visitors will interview teachers, students, and might also approach you during student drop off and pick up times.

We thank the many families who contributed to fund the accreditation work. It was highly appreciated. We ask Allah (SWT) to bless their families and increase their wealth.

Dr. Ramzan on Board

Dr. Muhammad Ramzan has been sitting on board meetings for the past few months to observe the work and get acquainted with the processes. Dr. Ramzan has officially joined the board of directors starting this week.

We ask Allah (SWT) to bless Alhuda community with Dr. Ramzan’s contributions and to grant him patience and wisdom.

Science Change

Last week, Maha Khedr resigned from her position as the science teacher for the middle school. Aisha Siddiqua has graciously accepted the challenge of adding two periods to her daily assignments.

Science Fair work will be followed on by the team of Dr. Farrag, Mrs. Siddiqua, and Mrs. El-Alami.

We wish Mrs. Khedr all the best in her new endeavours. We ask Allah to bless Mrs. Siddiqua in her health and her family.

Alhuda Academy’s Annual Spring Fundraising Dinner is

on April 10 at 7:00 p.m at WIC.

The dinner’s speaker is Yousef Abdallah, the Regional Director of Islamic relief.

By Allah’s blessings, we have been able to accomplish so much through our relentless commitment to excellence in educating young Muslims. Our work would be incomplete without the continuous support from you, our community members.

We wish to see everyone at this event when we share with you our successes and present a sample of students’ work.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes is scheduled for tomorrow, March 12th. If your child was absent you can order portraits. Just pick up a flyer in advance from the school office. If you were not satisfied with your child’s portrait, please return the original portraits to the school office and let us know if you want his/her picture retaken.
