In a prior email we had mentioned that since we have students using Worcester Public School (WPS) bus services we would therefore be implicitly following WPS operating schedule. After additional consultation with Alhuda stakeholders we will not be automatically mirroring WPS scheduling but will be following one that both the Alhuda administration and board determine. Please visit our website and/or listen to our school voice mail for up-to-date information regarding any possible change in opening.

Motorized LEGO CAR RALLY

For children age 10 and above ONLY

Pairs of students are challenged to build a slow car using a Motorized LEGO^@ kit. Students begin with a bicycle building activity that introduces the concepts of gearing down and gear ratios. They then build a motorized car built with a pulley system. Students then use what they learn from these practice vehicles to design cars that are timed on a meter course to see how slow they can go. This activity provides students with a hands-on mechanical engineering design experience.

Children must attend with one adult only

Alhuda Girl Scout Troop First Meeting!!

Our first girl scout meeting is scheduled for Fri, Sept 24, from 4-6pm, and will be held in the WIC cafeteria. The scouts are open to girls in grades K-8.
