Daycare Staff

Ms. Sarah Badry, Daycare Director

Ms. Badry has worked with the Daycare since opening in 2009.  She is excited to work with young children from the community in an Islamic Environment.  Her goal is to help children grow and develop with a love for Allah.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the American University in Cairo and has also participated in the Central Massachusetts Writing Project for teachers.  She has worked as an elementary school teacher at Alhuda Academy for two years, teaching English, Math, Science and Social Studies to second grade and Social studies to fifth grade.  She used a creative teaching style to expand the curriculum beyond the textbook and meet the needs and learning style of each child.  She has also worked for an educational publishing company selling different comprehension and reading materials to schools across the country.

Ms. Marwa Elsayed, Daycare Teacher

Ms. Elsayed has been with the Daycare since 2010.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Alexandria University in Egypt.  This is her third year working in the daycare.   She has four years experience as a preschool teacher in Alexandria, Egypt.

Ms. Sabah Ajmeri, Daycare Teacher

Ms. Ajmeri is excited to join our Daycare team.  She currently is in school working towards her degree in Early Childhood education and Islamic Studies.  She has been a home Schooling mom for her four kids and taught all grades from pre-k to 8th grade.  She has worked as a substitute teacher at Waterloo public school District in Iowa and Queen Creek School District in Arizona.  She also volunteered at Phoenix Metro Islamic School and was a volunteer teacher at Islamic Center of Waterloo for 4 years.  She has also worked as a tutor for elementary school students teaching English, History and Science.  She just moved to Worcester with her family and wanted to be part of the school.  She is looking forward to working with young children in the community at the Islamic Daycare.  Her goal is to finish schooling and teach kids at the Islamic School.
