Daycare Staff

Mrs. Marissa Abutaleb, Lead Daycare Staff Person:

Mrs. Abutaleb has recently become active in the Worcester Islamic Center community as both a new member and a daycare teacher.  Mrs. Abutaleb has been working with children ages newborn to six years old for over 10 years.  She also has two children of her own.  Before coming to Alhuda Academy, she had the great privilege to work as a preschool teacher for three years at Next Generation Children’s Center in Hopkinton Massachusetts as well as to stay at home for 18 months with her youngest son.

Mrs. Abutaleb is Early Education and Care (EEC) certified to care for infants, toddlers as well as preschool children.  She is also CPR and first aid certified and working on a degree in Early Childhood Education on part time basis.  It is with great ambition that Mrs. Abutaleb has joined the growing team at Alhuda and looks forward to helping expand the Alhuda daycare.

Mrs. Sarah Badry, Daycare Staff:

Mrs. Badry earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the American University in Cairo. She also participated in the Central Massachusetts Writing Project for teachers. She has worked as an elementary school teacher at Alhuda Academy for two years. She taught English, Math, Science and Social Studies in her second grade classroom and Social studies to the fifth grade. She used a creative teaching style to expand the curriculum beyond the textbook and meet the needs and learning style of each child. She has also worked for an educational publishing company selling different comprehension and reading materials to schools across the country. This is her third year teaching at an Islamic school. Sarah has had the pleasure of staying home with her 1 ½ year-old son this past year. She is now excited to work with other young children from the community in the new Islamic Daycare. Her goal is to help children grow and develop with a love for Allah.

Ms. Marwa Elsayed, Daycare Staff:

Ms. Elsayed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Alexandria University in Egypt. This is her second year working in the daycare. She has four years experience as a preschool teacher in Alexandria, Egypt.
