The New England Spelling Bee is taking place this Saturday, May 15, 2010. We are encouraging all Alhuda families to attend and support our students.

The competition is taking place at West Warwick High School and contestants are expected to arrive at 9:30 a.m.

FROM ROUTE 95 HEADING SOUTH:

• Take exit 10 (Route 117 West)

• Follow Route 117 West through 7 traffic lights (2.5 miles)

• At 7th traffic light (SUNOCO on left; ON THE ROCHS restaurant on the right) turn right onto New London Avenue

• Follow New London Avenue for .7 miles

• At VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB, turn left onto Factory Street and follow Factory Street for .2 miles

• Turn in drive (on right) West Warwick High School

FROM ALHUDA TO WEST WARWICK HIGH SCHOOL: (please check directions before you leave your house.)

1. Start out going SOUTHEAST on E MOUNTAIN ST toward BRIARWOOD CIR.

2. E MOUNTAIN ST becomes NORTHEAST CUTOFF.

3. NORTHEAST CUTOFF becomes PLANTATION ST.

4. Merge onto I-290 W toward AUBURN.

5. Merge onto MA-146 S via EXIT 12 toward I-90 / MASS. PIKE / MILLBURY / PROVIDENCE RI (Crossing into RHODE ISLAND).

6. Merge onto I-295 S toward WARWICK.

7. Merge onto BALD HILL RD / RI-2 S via EXIT 2 toward WARWICK.

8. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto TOLL GATE RD / RI-115. Continue to follow RI-115.

9. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto NEW LONDON AVE.

10. Turn RIGHT onto FACTORY ST.

11. Turn RIGHT onto WEBSTER KNIGHT DR.
