Yasmene Badereldin has taken the courageous decision to officially wear Hijab. She has been wearing Hijab since last May. In her honor and to indicate the importance of this great act of obedience, Alhuda had a party on the last day before vacation. Students discussed the idea of obeying Allah (SWT) through attires, including the proper way to cover one’s body as indicated by the Sunnah. They played games, ate cake, and shared words of wisdom.

We ask Allah (SWT) to bless Yasmene and her decision and to make her a strong and wise Muslimah, a good model for other Muslim girls. I ask Allah (SWT) to bless our community with more acts of worship that please Him.
